Formed in the Fall of 2003, the Robson Ranch CERT, the first in the City of Denton, is trained in disaster preparedness, fire suppression, basic disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, disaster psychology, team organization, and dealing with Biological, Nuclear, Incendiary, Chemical, and Explosive terrorism. Team members are trained to handle emergency situations for up to 72 hours until relieved by the Denton Fire Department.
